Welcome!
Thank you for visiting the Portrush Drive-In Church web site.
The Drive In Church operated in the East Strand Car Park, Portrush from 1993 to 2018. In the early years it was unique and became hugely popular, drawing visitors from across N. Ireland and further afield.
In 2019 we were unable to run due to the car park being used for the British Open golf tournament. In 2020 we didn't run due to restrictions on travel. Covid caused a break in our programme, but brought about a wave of Drive-In services across the country as churches were unable to meet indoors.
We have archived many of our past series and invite you to watch some of these services, free of charge, in the video library.
All services are also available to purchase, in higher definition, on DVD.
Here is the video of week 1, 2018.

Portrush is the top tourist town in Northern Ireland and is situated on the famous and beautiful Causeway Coast. Every Sunday evening, in the height of the tourist season, many people would make their way to the East Strand Car Park in the town for the Drive-In Church.
Each week there would be visiting guests to take part either in testimony or song. Rev. Eric Stewart, M.A. who organised and ran the Portrush Drive-In Church from its inception, brought the closing message at each of the services.
This has been an amazing event, attended by great crowds of people - locals, people who travel from a distance and tourists. Thsoe who attended found the music stirring and the message challenging, feeling welcome despite being part of such a large congregation.
We give thaks for all that has been done through this ministry - bigger than any man or church. It is a work of God and we praise Him for what He is doing even in these days of indifference. Many little booklets, "How to become a Christian", are requested each year and we believe there will be those who will seek and find the Saviour having been challenged at the Drive-In Church.
